It was FedEx that delivered Alvaro Palacio, the founder of Paramount Athletics, to Memphis. Palacio is originally from the Republic of Panama. When he was young, his family had a dramatic departure and landed in a one-bedroom apartment in California. He had an uncle working in Memphis for FedEx, so his family relocated. He went on to graduate from the University of Memphis with an MBA and BBA in International Business. Palacio launched Paramount in 2019. "I've always been an athlete.
