The Paramount Center for the Arts is presenting the California S ONGBOOK LIVE. The concert brings the sunshine to the stage with THE CALIFORNIA SONGBOOK, a tribute to the sounds of The Mamas & The Papas, Joni Mitchell, Carpenters, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, & more. In the mid-'60s a new sound was brewing in Laurel Canyon, California. Folk, country, pop, mysticism, rock, & even show tunes – blended together, and every record executive was on the lookout for that new folk/rock sound.
